Filmed over one summer, For Here Or To-go? depicts the dilemma of an Indian student nearing graduation—whether to return home to take care of his ailing father or pursue the faint possibility of a brighter future in the United States. The film tells the story through the often-conflicting perspectives of the three main characters—the student himself, his father and his long-term girlfriend, who is still back home in India.
